This video reaffirmed much of the previously-leaked information for 2021 for all of the flavors previously mentioned. Two months after the leaks from August 2020, on October 8th, 2020, a leaked internal reel video surfaced on the same Dew Drinker Discord server, showing upcoming plans for the Mountain Dew brand for 2021. All of these leaks are as follows: Major Melon, alongside its Zero Sugar variant, Rise Energy, Baja Blast alongside two flavors, Baja Flash and Baja Punch, DEW-S-A, Riddler's Brew, Gingerbread Snap'd, and a re-release of Pepsi Blue. On August 4th, 2020, on the Dew Drinker Discord, information was leaked by an anonymous individual showing upcoming plans for 2021 with many flavors and new brands alike. Its store release tagline was " DEW with a Blast of Artificial Gingerbread Flavor," while its prototype tagline was "DEW with a Blast of Natural & Artificial Gingerbread Flavor." History Employees stated that its status past 2020 would depend on its success at Walmart.Gingerbread Snap'd was a Gingerbread flavor of Mountain Dew and originally had a brown look, which was later changed to white, with a similar theme to Mountain Dew's other Christmas flavors. It was later changed to be an exclusive flavor thru the end 2020 only at Walmart stores in the United States. A week later, another leak from a Mountain Dew fan group on Facebook revealed that Frost Bite Zero Sugar was officially set to release on March 22nd, 2021. A few days after the leak, it was confirmed by a Pepsi employee on the Dew Drinker Discord that it was planned to be released sometime around April 2021, and would be available in 12-packs and 20-ounce bottles. In January 2021, a SmartLabel listing for a 20-ounce bottle of Frost Bite Zero Sugar was leaked. It was officially released to Walmart stores in the United States on March 23rd, 2020 as a permanent flavor, and was sold in 12-packs, 24-pack cubes, 16.9-ounce bottle multipacks, and 20-ounce Sidekick bottles. Also, the employee also gave a statement about the release, stating that it would get released in Walmart stores and mentioning a release date of April 2020. On January 15th, 2020, in a r/MountainDew Reddit post, Frost Bite was leaked by a PepsiCo employee named "mtndewinsider," showing an advertisement of a 16.9-ounce bottle of Frost Bite to which he later received as a 20-ounce test sample bottle. However, the community and moderation team prevented the leak's spread, both to prevent the drink's launch from potentially getting canceled (based on what happened to Happy Dew Year), as well as for the safety of the leaker. Frost Bite, described as "a burst of icy refreshment and cool melon" flavor of Mountain Dew and has a cobalt blue look, having an identical tasting flavor and color to that of 2017's Game Fuel (Arctic Burst).
